Saudi Aramco joins RMC and collaborates with USC for the ISH Project

November 24, 2015 —

Saudi Aramco is collaborating with Reservoir Monitoring Consortium (RMC) at the University of Southern California (USC), for the In-Situ Stress for Hydraulic Fracturing (ISH) Project. The objective of the project is to develop in-situ stress analysis for a carbonate reservoir to control the orientation and propagation direction of the stimulated fracture network. The results are expected to be used for well placement planning and horizontal completion design.
